In Western society, intelligence is often equated with intellectual prowess – the ability to reason, analyse, and problem-solve. This logical, linear approach to knowing, championed by Descartes' famous dictum "cogito, ergo sum" (I think, therefore I am), has driven immense scientific advancement.
