Customised learning journeys for organisations

Collaboratio helvetica co-designed and facilitated the dialogue event series Re:ACT to initiate meaningful action and sustainable change at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Additionally, collaboratio helvetica accompanied two research teaching dialogues to integrate sustainability into the daily activities of ZHAW employees.

Collaboratio helvetica designed and facilitated an international and multilingual workshop for the Biodiversity Lab, a project by the Swiss association Brainforest. The workshop aimed at mapping the systems that contribute to biodiversity loss in the Peruvian Amazon to allow for a deeper understanding of the complexity of the issue, recognise the involved sectors and identify possible leverage points for developing impactful solutions.

Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling collaborated with collaboratio helvetica and Let’s Talk Waste to engage key internal and external stakeholders on the ambitious goal to achieve zero plastic waste across operations by 2025.

The Swiss federal government established the 2030 Dialogue for Sustainable Development to enable broad and transverse discussions about sustainable development and interdisciplinary issues relating to the 2030 Agenda. In a collaboration with the the Federal Office for Spatial Development ARE and öbu - the association for sustainable business, collaboratio helvetica was responsible to design and facilitate the dialogue events and to co-shape an interactive programme for the occasion.

Collaboratio helvetica was commissioned with the process design and implementation of the Citizens' Assembly for Food Policy. The goal was the development of recommendations for Swiss food policy as a part of the "Ernährungszukunft Schweiz" project of the foundation Biovision, the association Landwirtschaft mit Zukunft, and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN Switzerland).

The Protein Lab, a multi-stakeholder workshop series, was a collaborative project of the three organisations Sentience Politics, Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH and collaboratio helvetica. The aim of the Protein Lab was to develop cross-sector solutions for the transformation of the food system. Additionally, a public dialogue event at Bern University of Applied Sciences was organised and facilitated to increase outreach and deepen engagement.

Collaboratio helvetica led a workshop on ecosystem mapping during THRIVE Impact organised by the Competence Center for Social Innovation (CSI-HSG) and Columbia Climate School. The goal was to support students to work on their various cases related to climate justice.

Collaboratio helvetica held speeches and workshops on transformation and systemic change at the Convention4u, the annual convention of the Austrian meeting industry organised by the Austrian Convention Bureau. The convention aims to provide the sector with exchange opportunities to discuss major topics and developments in the industry.

Collaboratio helvetica mentored students in the Sustainable and Transformative Design course at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts to foster the integration of systems thinking in their project designs, highlighting the importance of personal inner work for external impact.

For a research module by micelab:bodensee, collaboratio helvetica led the participants through an intensive U-process on the question of “What does a good balance between meaningful work and economic necessity look like?” Together with international partners around Lake Constance, micelab:bodensee aims to create vibrant, inspiring congresses and meetings, sharing their research through practical experiences and publications.
