Catalyst Anna Krebs - SDG 5
"99% of the work is building relationships and connections. That's what I have realized during the Catalyst Lab." Anna Krebs is a professional coach and has a Masters in Intercultural Encounters from the University of Helsinki. In her professional life the 35-year-old primarily deals with the issue of organisational development and inclusion & gender equality in the workplace. As a Finn with Swiss roots, she sees a lot of work to do for Switzerland in terms of gender equality: "I have been living in this beautiful country for 8 years now. So much important and innovative work is being done here. But when it comes to gender equality in the workplace, Switzerland still has a long way to go." In her project “The Gender Dialogue Spark” she designs and facilitates creative and innovative gender equality workshops for organisations and companies that allow participants to explore aspects of gender on a personal, societal and organisational level. It results in learnings around the status quo of gender equality within the organisation and ignites a spark for change to reach the full potential of the organisation's diversity. “The Catalyst Lab has taken my project a big step forward. The various modules and coaching sessions made it clear to me that I need to stay creative and think outside of the box and larger than any given deliverables. Today I invest more time in building relationships. It's the best way to build trust." During the Catalyst Lab Anna conducted several stakeholder interviews and published the most important findings on the collaboratio helvetica blog. "This phase was crucial for my project. The insights and personal contacts from these interviews were extremely valuable. Since the Catalyst Lab, my project has much more visibility and momentum."
