Virginia Schumacher is an independent business developer for start-ups and initiatives and an advocate for gender equality, social justice, and systems change. After having completed her master’s in business and economics in Basel, Switzerland, she followed her passion for system entrepreneurship and system architecture. As co-founder and CEO of FEMtrepreneurs, she launched the initiative at the Innovation Office of the University of Basel, empowering female entrepreneurs and leaders. Having handed over the initiative in 2022, Virginia is now co-founder of “Think & Do & Feel Tank”, an initiative currently under development. Believing in realigning societal values toward a sustainable relationship with nature, more humanity, and equality, Virginia aims to further nurture entrepreneurship for social innovation by addressing the root causes of inequality.
