Community Forum
The space to meet and co-create
We are a growing community of changemakers in Switzerland. We need regular face-to-face meetings where we can get to know each other, exchange ideas and knowledge and learn about different projects. This is why we hold community fora, quarterly meetings of the collaboratio helvetica community.
What do we do
Community Fora are the spaces where the collaboratio helvetica Explorers meet, get to know each other, exchange ideas and experience the tools that we work with. Coming together as a community and supporting each others’ ideas are crucial elements when we talk about creating systemic change and impact. In order for the community to be a living system and for collaboration to happen, physical meeting spaces are a crucial element, where Explorers can get to know each other, exchange ideas and knowledge and learn about their different projects.
The Community Fora take place in a quarterly rhythm as a full day event and bring together a growing number of active Explorers across Switzerland. Find our up coming community fora on our events calendar.
Aims of this format
Creating a space where Explorers can meet and get to know each other
Creating a space where collaboratio helvetica and the methods we work with can be experienced
Exchange of ideas and knowledge in the community
Learn about ongoing projects
Creating a first touchpoint for the emergence of potential collaborations
Set the basis for a shared culture of collaboration
We measure our success through event evaluation surveys and through the number of participants
What we have learned so far
Only by being supportive of each other can we step up and activate the true potential in these rather turbulent times. The community fora were moments where the collective wisdom and knowledge became palpable, enlivened people and enthused their projects. These moments are precious pearls in the hectic day to day life. They offer us hope and deepen our trust as well as challenge whether we really mean it, by being collaborative, include different perspectives and learning how to deal with critical questions.
