The monthly Community Call is a digital get-together open to anyone interested, in and beyond the community. Each month, we focus on a specific topic, creating a shared space for discussion, exchange of ideas and reflection.
Alternative pricing models: How can we use new ways of value exchange?
In this call, we are going to explore alternative ways of pricing and value exchange. Our three guests and explorers, Francesca Paoletti, Stephanie Steyrer, and Mette Koppelaar have themselves been experimenting with alternative pricing models in their respective fields – and will share their experiences.
At collaboratio helvetica, too, we have recently introduced a new pricing model for our flagship programme, the Catalyst Lab. It is therefore an exciting opportunity to learn from each other as we discuss the reasoning behind alternative pricing models, our insights, and questions – join us as we delve into this evergreen topic of money, services, and meaningful value exchange. Let’s get inspired!
Facilitators:
The call will be hosted by Kaspar Paur from collaboratio helvetica. He will be joined by our three guests:
Mette Koppelaar is an author and space holder. He has applied a value-based approach to his services. Fun fact: Kaspar met him at the Field Facilitator Training – an encounter that inspired us to adopt an alternative pricing model for the Catalyst Lab.
Francesca Paoletti is an expert in energy and climate, a Buddhist teacher and a meditation facilitator. She is experienced with pricing models in a Buddhist context, which rely exclusively on donations.
Stephanie Steyrer develops projects, empowers communities, and accompanies processes for Pioneers of Change. She has been the driving force behind various successful experiments related to different ways of pricing.
What can you expect in these 1.5 hours?
We believe in the power of interaction. We will kick off with a check-in, followed by a conversation with our three explorers. You’ll then have the opportunity to discuss the topic in a short break-out session in pairs or trios before sharing our findings (harvesting), and closing the session with a short check-out.
Who can join the call?
Everyone interested in learning more about the topic and getting to know collaboratio helvetica is warmly welcome to join the call, so don’t hesitate to invite your friends and whomever you feel would benefit from this call.
