Rebecca Panian
Rebecca Panian transitioned from a varied background, including sign painting and graphic design, to becoming a TV editor and filmmaker. She holds an M.A. in directing fiction from ZHdK, Switzerland. Her debut documentary earned the Audience Award at the Zurich Film Festival 2014. Since 2016, she has advocated for an unconditional basic income (UBI), believing that UBI can free up urgently needed creativity, problem-solving energy, and space to address our planetary challenges. With Village Tests the Future she explored UBI's practicability in a Swiss village. Currently, Rebecca is working on the impact documentary IMAGINE, a film that re-imagines reality, and she launched the Pop-Polit talkshow Voll auf die 12 in September 2023 that addresses collaborative solution finding.
