Johannes Tschiderer (SG)

Current field of activity: Master student in Banking & Finance and Managing Climate Solutions, President of Student Impact - Consulting for sustainable business
The UN sustainability goals he promotes:
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all (SDG 4)
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns (SDG 12)

Johannes Tschiderer is pursuing a master's degree in Banking & Finance and Managing Climate Solutions at the University of St. Gallen. A summer course in Cape Town on social entrepreneurship starting at the bottom of the pyramid fostered the realization that today's business practices fail when it comes to solving the big, global problems. As president of Student Impact - a student consultancy service for sustainable business - he works with his team to support the spread of sustainable business ideas, practices and mindsets, to foster the personal and professional development of students to become responsible agents of change, and also to drive the transformation of business schools from within. His vision is to scale and transfer the concept behind Student Impact to other universities as well as other countries in order to shift the basic tents of doing business.
