Re:Act – A Dialogue Series for Sustainability Engagement at the ZHAW
We collaborated with ZHAW sustainable from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) to create “Re:Act”, a dialogue series, designed to increase sustainability awareness and foster project initiatives across the ZHAW community. Spanning four dialogue events held from spring 2024 across multiple ZHAW locations, the series offered participants an opportunity to co-create ideas for sustainability initiatives, guided by systemic and participative approaches.
Our Approach
Each event balanced systemic methodologies with an immediate, results-driven focus. The first part of each session involved interactive exercises like human mapping to encourage open discussion and a sense of community. The second part focused on brainstorming and refining sustainability initiatives, with participants presenting their ideas to the group. Each session culminated in a collective voting process to select initiatives that resonated most with the participants.
Addressing Key Needs
The Re:Act series generated significant engagement and numerous project ideas, reflecting the diverse perspectives within the ZHAW community. These ideas are being reviewed for potential implementation by ZHAW sustainable.
