Beth Durent
Beth Durent is a circularity advocate and joint lead of ReGen Basel. The project raises awareness about the environmental impacts of consumer goods and creates a forum for local networks in Basel to connect, collaborate, and take action. Beth’s work focuses on the fashion industry. As part of this work, Beth is working to pilot an Educational Fashion Hub, which will inform a wider audience about the environmental impacts of fashion and promote sustainable consumption, whilst also working towards developing a local circular ecosystem. Her career has spanned global brands such as Dr. Martens, Cath Kidston, Tesco and Nike, where she delivered product innovation and quality management and led sustainable initiatives. She holds a B.Sc. in Textiles and Clothing Production Management from De Montfort University and has furthered her expertise through circular economy training at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and the Real Circularity Academy.
