Explore career and child care
Explore career and child care balance from a Gender Equality perspective
Have you experienced that one of your great talents dropped out of your company because of irreconcilability of work and child care? Or do you employees demand a more flexible work place to better balance career and child care?
If you are looking to tackle this challenge in an uncommon way, then join us on the Dialogue Evening to discuss the challenges, opportunities and solutions!
Collaboratio Helvetica and Gender Equality Advising invites you to equally participate in the dialogue to explore the following question from a gender equality perspective:
How can companies and their employees create a favorable environment for men and women to better balance career and child care?
The objective of this Dialogue Evening is to find a common solution for a balanced life between career and child care.
Procedure
Step I: individual Dialogue Evening
In a first step, we will organize an individual Dialogue Evening for each party
Dialogue Evening for directors and/or HR from different companies and industries – 29th April 2019
Dialogue Evening for employees from these companies – 16th May 2019
This way everybody can express their needs and challenges in a safe place.
Step II: common Dialogue Evening
In a second step we will bring together both parties to find a common solution with the learnings and conclusions from the first Dialogue Evening – 28th May 2019
Step III: implementation
If your company wishes to implement the discussed solutions, Gender Equality Advising can support you during this transformation.
What is a Dialogue Evening?
Collaboratio helvetica invites people to join collaborative spaces to explore the biggest challenges of our time. We organise journeys where we address and explore social challenges to find solutions that tackle the root causes rather than fighting the symptoms. We are a platform, community, organisation, laboratory and movement to work towards the Sustainable Development Goals, to create the Switzerland we want to live in.
The Dialogue Evenings allow to shift difficult and complex conversations towards a place that explores opinions, experiences, views and questions on a deeper level, to understand their systemic nature.
